Woke up with headache as I expected I would because of the caffeine withdrawal. Green tea isn’t horrible but is going to take some getting used to.  Caffeine withdrawal causes a lot of thinking problems… I was hungry all day and grazed.  I expect this too was because of the caffeine withdrawal and had nothing to do with any other aspect of the challenge.  I will say that the grazing was all done on clean food…  eggs, almonds, carrots, guacamole, cucumbers.  It just was not in the amounts specified inthe challenge.  I had a great dinner of baked chicken and a salad with balsamic vinegar and olive oil.  I did’t drink enough water I am sure.

So, it all sounds horrible.  But really it isn’t.  It is only horrible for me because I am choosing this time to give up caffeine.  Were I not in the throws of withdrawal from that I am pretty sure that I would be feeling awesome.  I am down two pounds from Monday morning which I imagine is the bloat that I had accumulated by a weekend of pasta, sushi (rice), and pizza.
